Relaxing Fearful Perspectives of Terror in the World

by Bob Brotchie

Just a few weeks after a horrific incident on Westminster Bridge in London, we faced further sadness when a bomb went off just after Ariana Grande’s concert at the Manchester Arena. Whilst all terror attacks are horrific and saddening, this one is particularly heartbreaking as this seems to be affecting our younger generation more so when they heard of the children and teens (particularly) who were caught in this terror.

Perspective

As adults, even though we can be deeply affected by such incidents we can ‘handle’ such news with greater insight. However, as highlighted today when a young man (aged 17) asked for any advice I could give in respect of what happened in Manchester, I realise how important it is to support our young ones and be aware of what they may be feeling.

From his self-guidance library, Overcome Fears and Phobias, Mark Tyrrell guides us through this 27 minute session Overcome Fear of Terrorism. When you have 30 minutes to yourself, with no distractions, this is an excellent resource for young and old alike.

8 Steps to Being Mindful

Starting today, you don’t have to muddle through life anymore – not knowing where to turn.

Imagine… having the courage to speak up, recognising unhealthy relationships, feeling calmer, relaxed and in control, and being more able to make positive and mindful decisions.

Imagine… being more focused, energised and living a more accepting life, no more sleepless nights worrying yourself into the ground, and no more toughing-it-out alone and putting on a brave face.

With our support, you can learn how to manage whatever is now troubling you, discover new choices and move forward in life.
