Penni Osborn

If you’re reading this, I guess you are already considering therapy. It is a big step but it can be a life-changing one. I know, as I’ve been there! Having overcome childhood trauma and battling the vicissitudes of life, I understand every meaning of the word “journey”. As such, I offer warm and empathic counsel and can provide you with the truly enlightening experience of self-awareness, bringing peace and acceptance, whatever your concern.

Life’s Curveballs

Life has a way of throwing ‘curveballs’ at us that seemingly hit us out of nowhere. When we look around and struggle to find the meaning behind this event, or question our ability to cope, we become lost and confused. However, it doesn’t need to be that way. When working with me, you will be in the driver’s seat – with me as your navigator, guiding you towards your goal (and away from those ‘curveballs’!). Always non-judgemental and incorporating a holistic approach, I’m on your side and you will always have my unconditional positive regard.

You talk, I’ll listen!

It is an old adage, but a problem shared truly is a problem halved. With our testing lifestyles, expectations galore and very little time to reflect, one of the most valuable and kind things we can give ourselves is ‘vent time’. Getting thoughts and worries out of your mind and verbalising them, even without any counsel or therapy, can be a very powerful and hugely freeing exercise. Having someone there for you, in your corner, who can listen non-judgementally and with empathy can, at times, be all that’s needed to restore peace and balance in your life. So, you talk, I’ll listen!

Who I Work With

Using an eclectic range of modalities and strategies, I offer professional and confidential counsel to those who are currently feeling ‘stuck’, or trapped, by the unhelpful thoughts or behaviours associated with stress, depression, anxieties (including phobias and insomnia) and emotional dysregulation. I strive to collaborate, empathetically and non-judgementally, to empower and restore equanimity and a continued ability to cope and remain ‘present’, whatever life brings your way.
